Country Care, through an agreement with Independence Australia and their Respite Care Program, offers a Respite Program through which people with severe to moderate non-compensable disabilities (aged 16 - 64 years) can receive respite attendant care.

The Respite Program can be used in some instances to compliment some Home and Community Care (H.A.C.C) services.
Country Care does not charge any costs to eligible clients. This service is fully funded by the Victorian Government.
Country Care can offer 5 permanent program places of 180 hours per year per client.
Country Care has also allocated a number of hours to an emergency pool. These hours can be made available to people at times of crisis or due to an emergency.
This service is available at the times dictated by the clients needs, including evenings, sleepovers and weekends.
