Respite Program
Country Care, through an agreement with Independence Australia and their Respite Care Program, offers a Respite Program through which people with severe to moderate non-compensable disabilities (aged 16 - 64 years) can receive respite attendant care.
Eligibility Criteria
Through the Respite Program, Country Care is able to provide ongoing and occasional respite care to people with a disability on a regular or occasiona basis. To be eligible for the Respite Program, you need to be:
- A Person with a moderate to severe disability
- Between the ages of 16 to 64 years
- Not receiving any other respite service (ie. from Other Agency, Linkages, Individual Spport Packages etc)
- Not be eligible for TAC or Workcover assistance
- Living in North-Central Victoria
The Respite Program can be used in some instances to compliment some Home and Community Care (H.A.C.C) services.
