Country Care was established in 1992 to provide quality Attendant Care support to people living with a disability in the rural and remote areas of North-Central Victoria.

Country Care co-founder and Managing Director John Simpson lives in the small North Central Victorian town of Rushworth and possesses a personal understanding of the issues and difficulties faced by people with disabilities & their families living in rural and remote areas. John also understands the importance of responsive and flexible attendant care support.

John has personal experience with various types of care support since a motor vehicle accident in 1966 which left him severely disabled. John was involved in the formation and establishment of AQA Victoria.  After moving back home to Rushworth he served on the Committe of Management as Chairman and later was employed as an advocate for(G.V. Council for Disabled) Regional Information & Advocacy Council 

John personally manages the day to day operations of Country Care and is supported by a team of dedicated office staff and attendant carers with a range of skills including specific experience and training in the support requirements of people living with Spinal Cord and Acquired Brain Injury.

Country Care is a registered and approved service provider to clients of:-

Country Care is committed to providing quality individualised attendant care services and operates in accordance with current industry standards in particular those set by the Transport Accident Commission, Department of Human Services and both the State and Federal Disability Services Standards.
